Check out the story of Cindy Sheehan getting arrested. The thing is she's smiling like a couple of hefty football players are helping her into her car.
Step 1: Be a part of a fake "anti-war" protest that is supposedly a peaceful march on the White House
Step 2: Do something that you know is going to get you arrested
Step 3: Profit
Through the years there have been many people who engaged in civil disobedience in order to bring about social change. These people knowingly put themselves in harm's way because they believed in something. Cindy is pretending to put herself in harms way because she is against somebody, namely President Bush.
Thank God people like Cindy are now in charge of the Democrats. It will make '06 a good year.

A. I watched this protest on C-Span (okay, nerdy but still I watched it) and if the title of the protest did not indicate that it was an anti-war rally nobody would have known that's what it was. There was only one unifying theme - Bush is an evil man. Not just a bad president. Not someone who has bad policies. Bush is an evil man. More time was spent about how Bush purposefully let minorities die in New Orleans than was spent talking about the war. What I mean is that it was an anti-Bush rally, not an anti-war rally.
Q. How did you come to the conclusion that Cindy Sheehan is against President Bush rather than the war?
A. "George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans and Iraq, and excuse his self from power."
"9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through" Bush caused 9/11?"
"it's okay for Israel to have nuclear weapons, but Iran or Syria better not get nuclear weapons." (just to be clear, she meant this as a criticism of Israel)
Along with these comments she has demanded that Israel pull completely out of Palestine. Furthermore, with the exception of once mentioning that Hillary Clinton needs to denounce the war, I have not heard her say anything about the majority of Democrats (or even Republicans) who voted for the war. These senators had the same information that President Bush had. Admittedly, the President is the most responsible (or should get the most credit) for the fact that we went to war with Iraq but there were a lot of others without whom the war could not have happened and she has nothing to say to them. I do believe that she started out as a grieving mother who was against the war, but she got a taste of the adulation that the media was giving her and she has taken it far beyond just being against the war.
Q. What is it about Cindy Sheehan that makes you say people like her are now in charge of the Democrats?
A. Follow the money. MoveOn.org, DemocratsUnderground.com and other 527s have "bought and paid for" the Democrat party (their words). They have made the Cindy Sheehans and Michael Moores of the world the ones to whom the Democrat party is beholden. So, there is nothing about her per se, but more about what is going on with the libs.
